Fatima is the founder and portfolio manager at Lagoda Investment Management. In her prior role, she was a managing director and portfolio manager at U.S. Trust for over ten years. Her roles included launching and managing $2 billion in the Global Opportunities Portfolio, and co-managing $5 billion in Excelsior Equity Core, an in-house strategy and mutual fund. Fatima began her professional career as an Investment Banking analyst at A.G. Edwards & Sons in St. Louis. Fatima received her MBA degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. Born in Poland, Fatima came to the U.S. as an exchange student in high school and attended Washington University on a full scholarship.
